Before the construction of fired bricks,it is necessary to make sufficient preparations and carry out them in a planned manner to ensure a good paving effect.Preparation before construction is necessary to improve construction efficiency.Let's take a look together at what kind of preparation it is!
1.Construction on rainy days
Fired bricks and masonry will be soaked by rainwater, affecting the bonding strength between mortar and autoclaved sand and mortar bricks, and sometimes causing masonry collapse. Therefore,it is strictly prohibited to build on rainy days.If it rains in the middle of the masonry, new masonry should be covered and not soaked by rainwater.
2.Top of masonry plug
Fired brick masonry requires blocking the top for several days, and it is strictly prohibited to block the top at the same time when building the wall. For multi story and high-rise frame structure buildings, the topping out should be carried out according to the principle of building first and then blocking after the basic laying of all main walls. The topping out can be carried out 10 days before painting.
3.A tall and long wall
When the frame filling wall is high and long, cracks are prone to occur. Therefore, when the length of the wall exceeds 5m,the structural columns must be set in the middle part. When the wall height is greater than 4m,a horizontal tie beam should be added at half the height of the wall, and both ends of the horizontal tie beam should be connected to the column,or a horizontal beam system should be added at the top of the door.
4.Watering before laying bricks
Usually, water the bricks two days in advance so that the surface of the fired bricks is wet and there is no floating water.Because bricks made of different materials have different shrinkage rates, bricks made of other materials cannot be mixed with them.Unclean bricks, such as mud, debris, and floating ash, must be cleaned thoroughly before being used for masonry.
5.Prevent loosening
The newly built fired brick body cannot withstand the load for a few days. When the masonry is found to be skewed or uneven,it is necessary to remove the heavier masonry and not use the method of striking the masonry to correct it,as this will cause the masonry to loosen and affect the bonding degree between the bricks and mortar. At present, spraying a small amount of water on the masonry during high temperature drying can slow down the drying of the masonry and improve the bonding strength between mortar and bricks.Newly constructed masonry should be properly protected within a few days to prevent mortar and bricks from colliding and loosening.
6.Scaffolding
Double row dedicated scaffolding or double row internal scaffolding should be used, and scaffolding holes should not be left on newly constructed walls. If constructing interior walls,it is necessary to preserve scaffold holes. To prevent water seepage, cracking, etc.Caused by the wall,it must be sealed with the same proportion of masonry mortar and bricks after completion.
7.Daily building height
It is not allowed to build continuously to the top of the wall at once. When the distance from the bottom of the beam is about 200mm,the masonry of fired bricks must be stopped. The top of the bricks should be tilted and compacted with mortar after a few days.
Today we are looking at some preparations that need to be made before the construction of fired bricks, because fired bricks come in various specifications and colors, and can be matched according to the style that users like. However, preparation must be made during construction, otherwise the efficiency will be low and the effect will be affected.
