Fired bricks are ubiquitous in our daily lives, such as in buildings and ground paving, indicating their wide application. This also imposes certain requirements on their performance. In order to help everyone better understand and use this product, this article shares its performance requirements with you.
1. The specifications of the block include: length 300mm, width 300mm, thickness 140mm, or: length 100mm, width 100mm, thickness 45mm, etc.
2. It should have good anti slip function and decorative effect. The permeability of a permeable floor depends on the permeability of the brick body and the permeability of the brick joints. In actual use, its permeability, anti slip performance, and decorative effect should also be considered.
3. The raw materials for fired bricks can include porcelain, hard pottery, high-quality concrete granules, rubber granules, broken glass, etc. Fine powder, clay sand, and needle packing will greatly affect the permeability, frost resistance, and service life of floor tiles.
4. Color retention. High quality floor tiles should have good color retention performance, and the pigments used are preferably oxidized iron inorganic pigments. For light colored concrete landscape bricks, when it is necessary to use white cement as the binding material, gray cement should be used as the base material as much as possible, and white cement should be used as the surface material for composite pressure vibration forming technology to maintain good color retention and compressive strength of the pavement bricks, and avoid serious "white birch" phenomenon.
5. Method of laying fired bricks. There are generally four ways to weave rectangular (Dutch long) floor tiles, and different laying methods not only produce different decorative effects, but also greatly affect the mechanical properties of the ground. For heavy-duty ground, the "herringbone" laying method at a 45 degree angle to the direction of the vehicle has better mechanical properties.
The above is about the performance of fired bricks according to requirements. Whether it is for production or for users to choose, I believe these contents can be helpful to everyone.
